Tea For Tizzy

Now that you know me a little better and have learned that I get myself all in a tizzy at times, I thought you might be interested to know how I untizzy (is that a word?) myself.

In a previous post, I wrote about yoga, meditation, and lots of prayer as ways to calm myself (they really work btw).

In this post I will reveal to you one of my addictions (and I mean addiction) that serves to unravel my nerves like no other!

Morning, noon, and night I feed my addiction!
    I travel with my addiction
    I eat with my addiction
    I blog with my addiction
I watch t.v. with my addiction
I drive in the car with my addiction
I take my addiction to meetings
My addiction joins me and my husband on dates
Anywhere, anytime, with anyone my addiction "hangs out" to offer me its soothing effects.
My addiction, well... is tea!!

No, not coffee because coffee, my friend... is not my cup of tea :)

I decided to stalk peruse the Spice and Tea Exchange shop to add to my repertoire of loose leaves. I found several I liked and purchased, but the aromatic allure of the Chocolate Black Tea beckoned me from across that quaint little boutique and people, let me tell you, God will serve this in Heaven for sure.
For those of you who are interested, here is my ritual:
I begin with a teaspoon of tea (never mind the scratch marks on my tsp. it was chewed up and spit out by the disposal)
For me, a little agave is a must:
Place a dab (I use more than a dab) of agave in the bottom of a tea cup.
Sprinkle the teaspoon of tea in an infuser... place infuser in your favorite tea cup.
Pour boiling purified water over loose tea in the infuser... steep until just the right strength for you :)
Remove infuser, stir, and there you have it... perfection at its very best!
So the next time you're thrown into a tizzy... reach for a soothing spot of tea and you'll be unraveled in no time (just a simple pleasure God knew we needed for times such as these)!

Happy Steeping!

Marisa

This is so true! When ever I have a hard day at school, I always go home and make myself a boiling cup of tea. It totally relaxes me. I will have to try chocolate black tea. That sounds delicious! I'm your newest follower, and looking forward to new interesting posts in the future, just like this one! Anyway, I would love it if you checked out my blog. I just posted something new, and it would mean a lot to me if you looked it up. If you like it and decide to follow back, I think I will literally die from happiness! That would mean so much!

I love tea, but it has to be in a tea bac. LOL! I checked out my button code and it seems to work ok. What kind of "glitch" are you speaking of? I copied the code from underneath the button, and added it in a different spot on my blog and it came up and worked ok. Oh~I
was gonna send you the code in a Facebook private message, but I couldn't figure out how on your page. I did see anything about "send message". If you will send me your e-mail, I will send you the code that I copied from my design screen.
Please try it again. It's a long code.
God Bless,
PJ
