I'm "Blogged" Down

Do you ever get "blogged" down??  I sure do... there's spending time with the Lord,  my family,  my friends,  working full-time,  and then there's... blogging!

If I were to align my priorities appropriately,  this is the order in which I would place them.  This being the case,  the only time I have to blog is late at night during the week and because I'm back up in the morning at 5:00 a.m.,  it's not the best option for me. This leaves select times on the weekends when my husband is working for me to sit down and type out my heart to all of you...

In a perfect world,  that would work just fine,  but what happens when I sit down to blog during the only time of the week I can cram in a couple of hours of writing,  and I have writer's block?  I'm clueless!  I don't want to bore my readers to death and waste this precious time...  hence,  I feel "blogged" down.

For me,  I want blogging to be an enjoyment,  a hobby,  something I enjoy and look forward to and not a drudgery. To this point,  I've really enjoyed sharing life with all of you. Some stories are silly and some stories are very near and dear to my heart and you have pulled me through some very emotional times... I thank you for that!

In a nut shell,  I think it's important for us to pray for one another and to be patient with one another if we are not blogging every day.  Some bloggers have the luxury of staying home and blogging all day.  Others have full time jobs,  families, and many other obligations that are pulling them in all directions and blogging is an escape for those people.

This is a wonderful way to social network and meet people you wouldn't ordinarily meet.  For me,  it is a true blessing and I wouldn't trade my blogging community for anything!

Thanks to all of you for meandering back my way to check out what I've had to say and for being patient with me when I get "blogged" down (as I will always return the thoughtfulness).  As with any other set back in life, a new beginning is just around the corner!

Looking forward to many more wonderful years of blogging with YOU!

Marisa, I totally get it. I'm with you on the priorities and wanting to write because it's something I'm passionate about...not because it feels like an obligation. I'll be praying for you, my new friend. So nice to connect with you and your blog through voiceboks.

Many blessings,
Rosann

Very glad to have found your blog! One of the best things about blogging is, no matter what it is to each of us, it's something that always brings people together. :)

Hey Marisa! I totally understand about being blogged down. The way I look at it is this; when we first come to someone's blog, we look at the content, design and so forth out of curiosity. After that we become friends, so it doesn't matter what they write, because we want to support them in their endeavor. I relate it to someone coming over for coffee and just letting me talk, vent, or whine. They are there as friends to listen. That is what friends do.

I know I get blogged down. Even though my blog has a main purpose, I still sometimes get to the point where I don't know what topic to write about. I pray about it, and sometimes He'll give me an answer, and others, I guess He wants to see what I'll come up with. LOL! Well, I guess I've rambled enough. God Bless,
PJ

Marisa,
I have been off this site for less than two months and, oh! the many changes I see. It is such a wonderful place to see and visit and share on.
Thank you for creating this place. It is a bit of Heaven in this old world of ours.
